The unit aims to

Collaborate with civil society organizations and various institutions involved in community development.

Oversee the infrastructure and overall appearance of the faculty.

Participate in university-organized convoys and initiatives, both within and beyond the university.

Focus on environmental and social studies to offer innovative solutions to environmental and societal challenges.

Graduate Follow-up Unit

The unit aims to establish effective communication channels with graduates and civil society, enhancing the faculty’s reputation and the success of its graduates.

A registration form has been created to compile a graduate database and facilitate communication with alumni (530 graduates have been registered so far) via the following link: Graduate Registration Form.

A Facebook page has been created for the Graduate Follow-up Unit, serving as a platform for interaction between the unit and graduates. The page collaborates with academic departments, businesses, and online job platforms to announce job opportunities for graduates of the Faculty of Arts, Helwan University. In 2023, the Graduate Follow-up Unit was established at the faculty with the approval of the university council.

Key Achievements in Graduate Engagement:

Organizing the First Marketing Forum for Faculty of Arts Student Projects for final-year students (Thursday, February 23, 2023).

Facilitating the participation of faculty graduates in the Helwan University Employment Forum, an annual event held at the university.

Enabling 24 students from the English, German, Spanish, and Italian departments to attend the "Visit VOIS' Initiative for University Students" event at Vodafone on Sunday, November 26, 2023, at the company’s Smart Village headquarters. The event introduced students to VOIS, its areas of operation, and career opportunities after graduation.

Crisis and Disaster Management Unit

The unit works to ensure the security and safety of all faculty members by

Raising awareness about crisis and disaster management.

Identifying potential crises and disasters and developing preventive and response plans.

Securing faculty facilities against crises and disasters.

Conducting training sessions for faculty members (students – academic staff – employees) on implementing crisis response plans.

Training unit members and enhancing their skills in this field.
