The Student Evaluation and Examination Systems Unit aims to enhance the quality of education and learning by developing student evaluation and examination systems within the Faculty. This is to achieve the targeted educational outcomes of academic programs in alignment with academic standards as part of quality and accreditation requirements.

Unit Objectives

The Examination and Evaluation Systems Unit at the Faculty seeks to achieve the following objectives:

Spreading the culture of developing evaluation and exams as a way to reform and improve the teaching and learning system and ensure its quality.

Formulating standards and specifications for student assessment in various academic programs and preparing the necessary guides based on the adopted standard academic criteria.

Developing question banks in various disciplines in light of the standards and objectives set for each specialization, incorporating them into the Faculty's databases, and updating them periodically.

Adopting electronic evaluation and testing systems in the various disciplines within the college to reflect the college's educational identity in light of its approved mission and the abilities of the students enrolled in these disciplines.

Adopting advanced mechanisms for managing assessment systems in academic programs to ensure accuracy and transparency, maintaining the integrity of the educational process from start to finish.

Collaborating with academic departments to formulate standards and specifications for student assessment in various academic programs, preparing the necessary guides, and encouraging them to adopt innovative methods for continuous quarterly evaluation within the faculty.

Training faculty members on various evaluation methods and their systematic relationship with program objectives and standards, as well as their suitability for the quality of targeted educational outcomes and measurement methods.

Continuous development and evaluation of assessment processes and forms, which helps reduce private tutoring that relies on standardized evaluation methods.
