A Message from the Head of the Department
The Psychology Department at the Faculty of Arts offers a range of high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate programs designed to prepare both researchers and professionals. Our goal is to equip graduates with strong mental well-being, outstanding competitive skills, and the ability to meet the demands of the job market in both the public and private sectors.
Our programs contribute to the development of academic knowledge and professional expertise in the scientific study of behavior, cognitive processes, and emotional experiences. We also focus on enhancing problem-solving and decision-making abilities through analytical, scientific, logical, creative, and critical thinking skills.
The department is home to a distinguished group of faculty members and academic staff, all of whom possess extensive expertise in various fields of psychology. With their strong academic backgrounds and commitment to staying updated with the latest advancements in the discipline, they actively contribute—alongside postgraduate students—to the accumulation of scientific knowledge in both theoretical and applied psychology.
We are continually working to enhance our programs and introduce new ones that align with labor market needs. Our aim is to keep pace with contemporary developments and innovations in an era of cultural and intellectual expansion, ensuring that our curriculum evolves with the rapid changes in psychological studies.
Finally, on behalf of myself and all faculty members and staff, I would like to thank you for visiting our department’s website. We look forward to staying connected with you and providing the necessary support to achieve our department’s vision and mission, in alignment with the goals of the faculty and university.
