The Head of the Department
The Department of Oriental Languages, through its Turkish and Persian languages, strives diligently to prepare distinguished graduates in both languages to fill the employment gaps needed in Egyptian society, whether in translation, journalism, politics, radio, television, or tourism. One of the department's objectives is to graduate scientifically and intellectually qualified cadres that are capable of working in the national archives and archives in Arab countries, which enables the graduates to handle documents through description and translation into Arabic. The department also aims to play an active role in conveying the culture and thought of the Turks, whether in Turkey or in the Turkish republics in the Caucasus region in Central Asia. In order to achieve its goal of preparing high quality, efficient graduates, the department adheres to all educational quality standards and applies them to the department's regulations, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
